My heart is broken. One of the greatest purveyors of love and joy is gone from our sight, yet not from our hearts and minds. I have always admired "Arch's" strength, determination, indefatigable wit and sense of humour. I will grieve this loss for the rest of my days.
As a priest in the Anglican Church of Canada, I would look forward to any news I could find on The Archbishop. When Mpho was ordained and later married, my heart leaped for joy.
Please extend my heartfelt sorrow and hope with Leah, Mpho and the rest of the Tutu van Furth family.
I know that somewhere our beloved Archbishop is dancing away, while telling the most fascinating and humourous story.
