Ummm very much a farmer joy moment. I nursed a hen back to health after she was attacked by a hungry raccoon. It took 6 weeks of care in the sick bay on our little farm. I named her Ethel. She spent the summer freely ranging over the farm yard. 2 weeks ago she disappeared one afternoon. No feathers to indicate a land predator. We said goodbye to her spirit after 10 days. This afternoon she was standing in the yard 💕💯joy. Small but powerful. True story.
