Dearest Archbishop Tutu's family, friends and team,
Sending much love and gratitude to Archbishop Tutu as he crosses to the other side and journeys on and to this time of transition for all....
I am a South African living abroad since about 1998 and I really only learned about Archbishop Tutu after I left South Africa. I was a teenager in the 80's. And I only got to see him more in his sweet light in recent times as I learned of his friendship with the Dalai Lama who I have long followed and admired, and through the film Mission Joy, which I have not yet even seen but seen interviews about etc and which is why I put my name on this email list. I had no idea that Archbishop Tutu was even potentially nearing the end of his life, so this comes as a surprise. At the same time it arrives with much faith that he lived a life that served so many, that his life was full and he will live on through what he has taught and shared with the world. I pray too that he unites with Nelson Mandela 🙂 My one and only true human super hero!
Greatest Blessings and deep love,
Jen
