After the birth of our first child, I was separated from her for 1 1/2 days in the hospital. I was so thankful when my husband and I took her home. There, we began to bond... I focused on her with intensity, and she was able to calm down. During separation, she was a very robust crier... She loved nursing, and it was the miracle that allowed us to be mother and child, finally. I am so grateful to God for this beautiful child and how she has grown to make us so proud to be her parents.
